Engineered Stone
Engineered stone is composed of 93 – 97% natural quartz. Available in a large range of colors, It has a semi-nonporous surface that resists scratches & bacteria and it’s easier to maintain without the annual sealing required by natural stone. Some brands on the market include DuPont Zodiaq®, LG Viatera®, Cambria and Silestone®, CaesarStone®, and Ice Stone®.
Laminates
Laminate counters bear trademarks such as Formica, Wilsonart, Pionite and Nevamar. They are made of tested synthetics with smooth surfaces that are durable and easy to clean. All counters are cut to your specific requirements and finished on the ends.
Solid Surface
Solid surface countertops are made of an acrylic polymer with no visible seams and can incorporate an integrated sink. The surface is nonporous and most scratches can be sanded out. The countertops are custom-made to your specifications by companies such as Corian, Staron, LG Hi-Macs, Gilbralta, Avonite, Swanstone and EOS.
